Support & help

Quick answers to common questions about queuing, saving, and getting the most out of UQ.Rocks. If your issue isn't covered, the contact route is at the bottom.

Getting started

UQ.Rocks makes it easy to create and manage YouTube video queues. Paste a YouTube video ID or URL into the input field and hit Add — that's the whole onboarding.

FAQ

How do I add videos to my queue?
Enter YouTube video IDs, URLs, or use the search autocomplete. Multiple video IDs can be added at once by separating them with commas.
What keyboard shortcuts are available?
Space play/pause  ·  N next  ·  P previous  ·  S shuffle  ·  R repeat  ·  M mute  ·  skip to next.
How do I save and load queues?
Use the queue management section to save your current queue with a custom name. You can then load, delete, or copy saved queues. All saved queues are stored locally in your browser.
Can I reorder videos in my queue?
Yes — drag and drop the video thumbnails to reorder them.
How do I remove videos from my queue?
Hover over any video thumbnail and click the "✕" button that appears, or click directly on a thumbnail to play it immediately (which removes it from the queue).
Can I change the color theme?
Yes — use the small color swatches in the top-right of the page header. Choose between lime, magenta, cyan, amber, violet, and paper (light mode). Your choice persists across visits.
What formats can I paste into the input field?
YouTube video IDs (e.g., dQw4w9WgXcQ), full YouTube URLs, or the autocomplete search to find videos by title.

Features at a glance

Browser compatibility

UQ.Rocks works best in modern browsers that support HTML5 video and local storage. For the best experience we recommend the latest version of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge.

Troubleshooting

Videos won't play or queue won't load
Refresh the page and ensure your browser allows autoplay. Confirm the video IDs are valid and the videos are publicly available on YouTube.
Saved queues disappeared
Saved queues are stored in your browser's local storage. Clearing browser data or using incognito/private browsing will remove saved queues.
Autocomplete search isn't working
Ensure JavaScript is enabled and you have a stable internet connection. Search needs at least 2 characters to activate.
